How the Diagonal style works

Diagonal draws one slanted stroke per cell; its width follows the ink, so tones become a field of angled lines that merge in the brightest areas. It's glyf's default look.

Best for

Editorial illustration and bold graphic posters.

Tips

  • Coverage controls stroke weight.
  • Works well at 8–12px cells.
  • Great as an SVG export.

Export

PNG, JPEG, WebP and SVG. Animated looks export as GIF, MP4 or WebM.
