With Bloom
How it works
Bloom blurs a copy of the frame and screens it back over the original, so the bright areas spill soft light into their surroundings. On a black background it makes characters and dots look lit from within.
Effects apply to the finished frame, so Bloom works with every style, and the Intensity slider sets how strong it is. It appears in PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF and video exports; text and SVG exports contain the grid only.
Tips
- Best on dark backgrounds with bright subjects.
- Great with Matrix, Dots and Disco.
- Too much washes out detail — 30–60% is usually enough.
