CRT scanlines effect
Horizontal lines and a rolling bright band, like an old monitor.

With Scan Lines
How it works
Scan Lines draws thin dark lines every few pixels that crawl down the frame, plus a soft bright band that rolls through on a loop — the look of a CRT screen. It runs on the Motion clock, so it animates in GIF and video exports and Speed controls how fast it moves.
Effects apply to the finished frame, so Scan Lines works with every style, and the Intensity slider sets how strong it is. Because it animates, it shows fully in GIF, MP4 and WebM exports.
Tips
- Terminal green (the Code ramp plus a green tint) sells the CRT look.
- Add Chromatic for colour fringing.
- Keep intensity under 50% if the image must stay readable.
